About

Scott J Isaacks, President TLab IT.

Scott Isaacks, brings over 30 years of structured cabling design and implementation experience to an ever changing telecommunications industry.  Recognizing that not all cabling solutions are created equal.  Scott was awarded his first patent for his flagship product line, FORTRESS, in 2007.  With 3 additional patents to follow.  This secure, plug-and-play fiber optic system was designed to meet the stringent network security demands of the US Department of Homeland Security.

Building on this success, Scott went on to design a complete, adaptable, plug and play solution for every vertical market.   Scott has been providing highly customized structured zone copper and optical fiber solutions to all industry verticals.

In 2015, he took on a new interest, which quickly turned into a passion, for passive optical LAN and SDLAN "Software Defined Local Area Networks".  Given the current direction of many states to require NetZero building, POL and SDLAN are the perfect solutions.  Not only does a client only cable it once for 25 years plus.  But using single mode fiber as the network fabric provides past, present, and future technologies to be implemented seamlessly on the same optical fiber.  No more rip out and replace older category copper cable plants to meet the ever increasing network need for speed.

Since 2016 Scott has provided customized solutions and implemented over 2 million square feet of municipal, higher education, financial and commercial office spaces utilizing POL and SDLAN.
